SHARK!
Sharks are usually depicted as mindless killing machines, eating anything in the sea, including people! Little could be further from the truth. These fascinating creatures are much less harmful to us than we are to them.
Shark! Exhibition explores the evolution of these ancient hunters, discerning fact from fiction and examining the threat they face from man's exploitation of the sea. The exhibition covers shark biology and behaviour, shows how superbly adapted sharks are to their life in the oceans and looks at the truth about shark attacks (and, perhaps, how to avoid them).
Shark! Exhibition was built with the co-operation of The Shark Trust and features stunning images from underwater photographer Jeremy Stafford-Deitsch. A special section in the exhibition looks at what we can do to help shark conservation.
